Continental factory car tire production
The construction of an industrial plant in Kaluga is part of the strategic plan of Continental’s tire business. The investment in the implementation amounted to 240 million euros. The plant was built in a very short time using the latest construction technologies – in less than 2 years. The start of mass production already took place in October 2013.
The company’s production capacity is 4 million tires per year with a possible expansion to 16 million. OOO “Continental Kaluga” produces winter and summer tires for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles of the three corporate brands Continental, Gislaved and Matador.
